Meet Chris Needles, our No Boundaries Walking Coach and Coordinator!

Chris has been involved with the NoBoundaries program since 2015. As a two-time cancer survivor of metastatic breast cancer, Chris attended a support group where a doctor came to Fleet Feet and talked about the importance of getting out and moving. She signed up for the next No Boundaries session right then and hasn’t left!

Chris is passionate about encouraging others to keep moving for mental and physical wellness. She’s a big champion of walking — and can hold a pretty fast pace, too!

If you’re looking for a supportive group where you can make friends, stay accountable and keep moving, No Boundaries is the group for you.

On Monday, August 24th we’ll be welcoming our friends from Girls On The Run at BOTH stores for GOTR Summer Night!

This is an opportunity to connect, shop, learn and celebrate our friends from Girls on the Run. If you’re interested in getting involved or introducing your child — this is a great place to start.

We’ll have refreshments, music, giveaways and a special shopping experience for those who stop by our GOTR tables! Students can also enter to win our Back-To-School themed raffle basket. 🎁

Introducing our “Meet the Coach” series. 📋

If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Coach Jon yet, allow us to formally introduce him! Jon is our Head Running Coach and Manager of Training Programs.

Jon is enthusiastic about helping runners achieve their goals. If you’ve met him, you know he brings the energy every time. He shows up with a genuine interest in getting to know every runner, whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned pro.

One of the most important things he wants you to know is that everybody is welcome. There is a training program for everyone — regardless of skill, goals or experience. Jon encourages you to check out our programs from No Boundaries to marathon training and more.

We hope to see you at our Trail Mix Run next Tuesday evening with South Park Trail Runners!

🌿 Demo shoes from ASICS, Brooks and Saucony will be available. If you’re interested in trying on trail shoes, please plan to arrive between 6:00 - 6:15 PM. We will run promptly at 6:30.

🌿 Please bring your own water.

🌿 Meet at the upper lot of the Cascades. Spillover parking is available in the Oliver Miller Homestead lot.

🌿 We will conclude the evening with a “Make Your Own Trail Mix” station!

There’s something about a refreshing ice cream treat after a run on a summer evening.

That’s why we’re hosting an Ice Cream Social Run with New Balance this Tuesday, August 18th at our South Hills location! 🍨

The run starts at 6:30 PM. Demo shoes will be available at 6:00 PM. We’ll run a route of 3-miles from the South Hills store.
