❄️Extreme weather is stressful — for people and animals.

❄️I have put together simple, practical reminders to help pets and community cats stay safe during winter storms. Some are really obvious, some are really easy to forget, and all of them really matter.

❄️Whether you care for indoor pets, indoor/outdoor pets, or community and feral cats, thank you for showing up and doing what you can. Small, steady actions make a real difference — especially right now. 💙

❄️Shovel in shifts, not all at once.
❄️Be sure anything that vents outside is cleared of snow.
❄️No vehicle can drive on ice.
❄️Wear ice cleats if you have them.
❄️No boots? Wrap your feet in plastic bags or aluminum foil under your socks to keep your feet dry.
❄️Charge your devices and power banks.
❄️Change the batteries in your CO2 detectors — now!

This past year was made of fiber, patience, and so many stories entrusted to my hands. Here are some highlights of that work. There were no favorites, a random selection because as always, whatever I hold in my hands is my current favorite.

Every skein, every keepsake, every stitch began with love — sometimes joyful, sometimes tender, always meaningful. I never take lightly the honor of working with something so personal.

I hope you enjoy seeing a small glimpse of what I’ve been creating.

🧶 2026 commissions are open and ready to be filled! All holiday slots are booked (over filled 👀 ) Thank you to everyone who has continued to support my work through the years even when I’m non existent on social media 😔It is always on my “to do” list but my “to make” list always comes first and is never ending. 🐈‍⬛ 🐕 🧶 So since I’ve been getting lots of holiday inquiries I figured best to shout it out “Holiday bookings are closed!” thanks to all of the cat and dog yarn enthusiasts who are excited about my work🥰

Yes it’s been forever and I’m very much still here🥰 Fall is filling quicker than I anticipated and so this is the obligatory annual shout that holiday 😳 slots will start filling soon. If you have a stash and have plans for getting that yarn or memento made in time for holiday gifting now is the time to submit!
As far as where I’ve been with radio silence…just toiling away creating for kindred spirits. Changing algos and lack of reach became disheartening though so I’m going back to my original intent with my page. To catalogue my work for the simple joy it brings to share and gush over the animals I work with. Plenty of kindred spirits find me organically.
So I hope you enjoy incoming post dumps of sooo much yarn🐾🧶 from current and not so recent projects 🐈🐕
And rescue- so much cat trapping and rescue the past year. And heartbreak. I lost both of my boys and while my heart hasn’t even begun to heal I know I sit with my torment in good company💕🌈💕
