The second Edmunds wedding we designed was a collection for Tremaine and his now wife TG.

Tremaine wore one of our signature bowtie’s in his brother’s wedding and asked him about the piece….

“I really like the quality of your pieces…I’ve seen a lot of bow ties and these ones aren’t small or flimsy.”

And so it began, we created a custom satin in satin bat wing and all black textural paisley and satin signature pieces for his groomsmen.

When working with our clients, we strive to understand their unique perspectives as a way to channel that into the design process. Sometime that is done through consultations and others a bit of quick old fashioned research.

As a woman designer in a traditional menswear space with clients of all backgrounds, visions, and personalities, I have to do my due diligence to understand and educate myself (and often ask my partner!) to gain a better sense of the worlds and spaces my clients navigate. When I realized Terrell Edmunds and Tremaine Edmunds were brothers…both in the NFL, with another brother also in the NFL (my partner gave me those nuggets) that was enough as a starting point to dig a bit deeper into their story.

And I immediately stumbled upon this amazing gem by produced KAY Jewelers.

& just a joy to watch as a black Mama of a black son 💗

Super honored to have had the opportunity to work with these guys and be a small but prominent detail in 2/3 (so far) of their special day’s!

Some clients are an absolute dream to work with and Dominic Beau and Rachel were just that!!

We spent several months working with Dominic to design and coordinate drop off of his now wife’s special wedding dress alterations…in a way that he’d only see the small detail of it included in his bow tie.

This collection features his exclusive one of one piece that uses dress alterations as a unique overlay to the base fabric we selected and from there, we were able to find a matching/ close enough match to overlay a few of the groomsmen pieces.

The result of everything coming together was immaculate and a true testament to Dominic’s thoughtfulness.
