We closed our door for the final time today. These last three weeks have been full of sadness, overwhelming gratitude and even some laughter sprinkled in. Six years ago, this month, we started planning this business adventure. While we would have loved for it to continue longer, we are so incredibly thankful for every single year God blessed us with. The amount of prayers, texts, kind words spoken to us, ears willing to listen to our emotions, people that came into shop, hugs, gifts and food brought to us is beyond anything we could have imagined. We realized, even more than we already knew, how amazing our little community is that we belong to.
We don’t exactly have the words to explain the last six years. If we could sum it up into one word, it would be grateful. Just grateful. What we’ve learned over the course of the last three weeks, is to never miss an opportunity to tell someone what they mean to you and how grateful you are for them. It’s sure to make their entire day. Kind words are sweet to the soul. We sure have felt so loved and we thank you.
A friend and local photographer reached out to us, soon after we announced we were closing, to offer to take pictures of us to document this huge part of our lives. Grateful, yet again. So we are sharing our last pictures with our brick and mortar store. It was more than a store to us. It was a place where we met so many new people. It was a place to pray with/for customers. It was a place to catch up with friends. It was a place that felt like home. But all of these blessings cannot be confined within our little boutique. We will continue on with these blessings outside of 153 West Main Street.
While this store has come to an end, our dreams are still alive. Don’t fully write us off. Instead of farewell, we will just say, see you later. 🤍
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️➡️
