For years we have shown up to events in the same outfits, eaten at the same restaurants or shopped at the same stores within minutes of each other, among many other random and funny coincidences. One evening when Becky had invited Camille’s family over for dinner, it came up tha
t both of us had individually been planning and working on starting a bow shop with very similar if not the exact same vision in mind. Within a week Modern Piggy was born. Becky is a wife to Adam, mom to Brooklyn and Harper, business woman and entrepreneur. She earned her bachelor's degree in finance from BYU where she worked in purchasing for a well-known fitness accessory company for 8 years. She also started the business Paisley Palooza selling party supplies on Etsy. After her second daughter was born in 2015 Becky decided she wanted to work from home and spend more time with her girls. Becky also loves Diet Coke, photography, binge watching shows, Instagram, Mexican food, the beautiful Utah mountains, sweets of any kind, spending time with family and trying fun, new restaurants. Camille is a wife to Russ, mom to twins Max and Clara, piano teacher, and accountant. She graduated from BYU in Accounting where she worked in tax and general accounting for four years before her twins arrived in 2013. Having a little girl started her obsession with making bows, but it also reinstilled her love for sewing, a skill her mother taught her as a young girl. She has spent hours upon hours in her loft toying with different ways to make accessories for her daughter's curly hair. Camille also loves running, snowboarding, water skiing and boating with her family, watching The Office, sugar cookies, traveling to new countries, hiking, decorating her house, photography, and of course, Diet Coke. We are no strangers to spending many hours braiding and styling hair and have spent way too much money on darling bows. We decided to merge our collective love for business, baby girls and design and start Modern Piggy with the idea to offer on-trend bows at an affordable cost.
