Obviously, ginkgo leaves do NOT come in the tiny size I need. 😑🤦‍♀️

So… I cut them out myself. 😂🍃
•
Yep, every one of these little ginkgo pieces starts as an actual ginkgo leaf, and I gently cut out the shape so I can turn it into jewelry or a bookmark.
•
Also, I zoomed this video WAY out because apparently you actually need to see what my hands are doing. 😂

Just another day of turning tiny pieces of the wild into wearable art. 💚

I’ve been having way too much fun turning one of my favorite leaves into wearable pieces—and this weekend, the ginkgo is getting its moment to shine! 💚

I’ll be at the Morton Arboretum this weekend with a whole collection of ginkgo leaf necklaces + earrings, inspired by one of nature’s most recognizable and beautifully quirky leaves. 🌿

✨ Every color starts as a little swirl of resin, a pinch of pigment, and a bit of imagination.

I’ve been mixing all the shades that will become this month’s jewelry collection—from soft, dark greens and bright wildflower blues to warm red hues inspired by late summer.
•
Every piece is handmade and one of a kind, just like the plants and places that inspired them.
•
