Touches my heart.

You’re not “just” doing new mom things.
You’re healing.
You’re learning your baby.
You’re navigating a brand new version of yourself while keeping a tiny human alive with a body that’s still recovering.

You’re doing all the invisible work, the feeding, pumping, soothing, rocking, diapering, crying, surviving. The stuff no one sees, but every mother feels deep in her bones.

This season is messy and raw and beautiful in ways that don’t make it onto Instagram. You’re doing the kind of work that reshapes your heart, your body, and your whole identity.

And even on the days you feel like you’ve done “nothing,”
you’ve done everything.

You are showing up.
You are trying.
You are important.
And you are doing an incredible job, even if you don’t always feel like it.

Give yourself credit.
Give yourself grace.
And remember, this version of you is STRONG, capable, and worthy of rest, support, and love.

There are days where everything just goes right, and than there’s days that break us.

On the days where you wonder if you have done enough, I want you to remember that those feelings will pass.

You will look at the life you created in front you, smiling without a care if the dishes are done, laundry is washed, or the fact that you have been walking around with a spit up stain all day. And you will forget all about that feeling of being a failure.

Motherhood doesn’t come with a manual, we make it up as we go. And sometimes we make mistakes, or forget things… but know that you are perfect just the way you are.

As long as your kids are surrounded by your laughter, hugs and kisses, than you’re doing a great job as a mom!
