Rainy Day Chores | Part 2 🌧️🐐

Rain or shine, the Bailey Homestead keeps rolling. 💚

It may be wet, muddy, and a little yucky outside, but that doesn’t stop us from making little upgrades to keep our goats happy and comfortable. Around here, the chores don’t wait for perfect weather—and honestly, neither do the good vibes.

Some of my favorite homestead memories happen on days just like this. 🌿☔

Have you ever seen Guinea Fowl before?! 👀🐦

These quirky little birds are our newest form of temporary predator alerting here at Bailey Homestead! 🚨

They’ve officially started free ranging the property, and let me tell you… they don’t miss much. If something unfamiliar shows up, chances are they’ll let the entire farm (and probably the neighbors 😂) know about it!

They’re entertaining, full of personality, incredible bug hunters, and another fun step in building a healthier, more natural homestead ecosystem.
