Under His Wings Thrift Shop has gently-used clothes at super low prices. Our Baby Pantry provides "Baby Basics" to families on WIC.

Parents needing baby items can visit the pantry during its open hours. They will need to fill out a form on their first visit validating their need. In the months after that, they only need to come and get what they need.

Here we are coming up on the middle of the week again. Good evening from Under His Wings. Our Celebration day for Wednesday is:

“National Toilet Paper Day” - something we all need and never want to run out of. This day recognizes an essential item we often take for granted until there is some sort of weather emergency or something else. It is hard to imagine life without toilet paper, but throughout history, people used many different materials for personal hygiene. In Ancient Rome, a sponge attached to a stick was used in public latrines. Before modern toilet paper became available, people used materials such as rags, leaves, moss, hay, straw and other items close at hand. National toilet paper day can be marked with humor, curiosity or practical appreciation.

“Cherry Popsicle Day” - cherry popsicles are especially popular because they combine the sweet and slight tart flavor of cherries with cooling sensation of a frozen dessert. Their vivid red color and familiar fruity taste also make them nostalgic for many people who remember enjoying popsicles during childhood summers.
