As I look back on all the projects I worked on in 2025, one particular dress stands out. My own granddaughter’s wedding dress. I had the enormous honor to make her a custom wedding dress, from scratch. I remember ordering all the materials, designing the mockup, cutting every delicate floral pattern, pinning everything first to make sure she’d like it. The countless facetime calls to make sure she’s happy with the vision. To make a custom ball gown in 6 months for a bride is challenge enough, but add in the bride living 6 hours away and only coming for 4 fittings in person. But to see her in that dress the day of her wedding was an incredible moment I will never forget. I will cherish this memory forever.

Thank you, to my granddaughter for trusting me to make your wedding dress. Your grandpa and I are so happy for you and Josh, and so thankful to have another grandson in the family now. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness, may the magic of your wedding day never fade. Mazal tov!

It was so much fun adding custom detachable sleeves to Camille’s dress. I also added sheer fabric to the back of the dress and pearls for some extra sparkle ✨ Thank you for trusting me on your special day!
