Tonight was the kickoff for Bridle Up Hope Pocatello. My sweet friend Lana runs this amazing program. She provides horse lessons and equestrian therapy. She is changing lives every day with this amazing service. My life has been hectic, but I made it a priority to make sure that this design happened for her kickoff party. It is the year of the horse and she wanted to incorporate that into her pink horseshoe logo. The Chinese characters for Hope are also featured on the horseshoe.

So there's this corner in my office that I lovingly refer to as my dopamine corner...

The items that I curated provide external reminders, feelings of Joy, happiness and nostalgia.

Now that I have been on ADHD medication for 3 years, I'm working to hack my brain for motivation and efficiency. Simply placing a few items that you will see over and over again during the day will give your brain a kick of dopamine. So what's the trick?

A new little typewriter label printer that not only provides NOVELTY because it's new, but when I print my labels which can be a boring mundane task, it makes it a fun activity THEREFORE =DOPAMINE

This troll planter is visually stimulating and I used to collect troll dolls when I was young, and it reminds me of the hilarious white elephant Christmas party where I won this gift= DOPAMINE

Over the past 3 years I have found that the most important thing with ADHD is education of what it is by definition. And translating what that definition looks like in real life And learning the right cheat codes to help you be successful.
