As I do work for numerous first time brides I wanted to break down the alterations process start to finish!
~ Text/call/DM to set up your appointment
~ First fitting should be at least 8 weeks before the wedding if possible
~ At the first fitting we will discuss the alterations needed and pin the areas to your liking
~ The alterations are completed
~ The bride is contacted to set up a second fitting
~ If the dress needs touched up this is addressed at the second fitting. If everything fits perfectly the dress can leave my studio.
A couple other things of note:
~ YES you can bring your mom or any friends and family you like! In fact, I have room for up to three or four additional guests plus the bride (I managed to fit 9 in just the other week 🤣)
~ Open communication is key when it comes to your alterations. I want my clients to be happy as much as they do. If something isn’t to your liking just speak up and I’ll take care of it
~ I do not charge a base rate and then pile additional costs on top of it. All alterations are priced “à la carte” meaning you only pay for precisely what needs done and at a fair price.
~ Finally, delivering excellent customer service is and always has been one of the most important aspects of my job. I want all my clients to have a wonderful experience while I’m working with them, knowing I care about how they look and feel on their big day just as much as they do!
