Some people buy Playful Pleats because the skirts are cute.

But THIS is why I made them. 🎾

My daughter happened to catch this little moment during cardio tennis Saturday — and I wish I could somehow film an entire match so you could see just how often I actually use the towel pleats.

Sweaty hands? Wipe them on the pleat.
Racket grip getting damp? Wipe it down.
Need to reset between points? It’s right there.

And I’ll tell you this: it might take wearing your skirt a couple of times before you really train yourself to remember, “Oh yeah…I have a TOWEL in my skirt.”

But once you start using it?

You use it ALL. THE. TIME.

And suddenly playing in a regular tennis skirt feels like it’s missing something.

Cute was never the whole point.

The power is in the pleats. 💚🎾

It’s Tuesday. I leave for NYC for the US Open on Saturday.

Number of things currently packed in my suitcase: **0.** 😂

Meanwhile, I’ve been planning skirts, outfits, postcards, content, giveaways and approximately 847 other things for Playful Pleats…but apparently packing MY OWN BAG didn’t make the list.

So I need to know: **what kind of packer are you?**

🧳 A week before

🧳 Night before
🧳 Frantically throwing things in a suitcase while you should already be leaving

This part is just really fun. 🎾📦

Packing up Playful Pleats PR and influencer boxes filled with skirts, socks and a little bit of everything I love about this brand. Every box is still packed by hand, tissue paper and all—and it’s pretty surreal knowing they’re about to land on someone else’s doorstep.

Now we wait for the unboxings… 👀

Today’s uniform: Playful Pleats at the TOUR Championship ⛳️💗

91 degrees. ☀️ A whole lot of walking. And thankfully… towels built into our skirts. 😉

I got to spend the day at East Lake with my mom watching some of the best in the game — Rory, Scottie, Justin Rose — while putting our Playful Pleats to VERY good use in that Atlanta heat.

But possibly my favorite part of the day? We kept having people stop us to ask about our skirts. 🥹

There’s something pretty surreal about walking around with your mom, wearing something you created, and having complete strangers notice it and want to know where they can get one.

Pretty sure Mom and I accidentally became a walking Playful Pleats billboard today. 😂💗

Such a fun day. And yes… those towel pleats earned their keep. ☀️⛳️
