I know this may seem like an odd post coming from someone who sells vintage on Whatnot, but I believe that when God gives you a platform, He also gives you a responsibility. This is just my way of reminding you of something that changed my life:
It’s never too late. You’re never too broken.
Your life is never too far gone to find peace, to find true love, or to experience the stability and protection that comes from knowing Jesus.
I’ve come from a very broken place myself. I’ve struggled with anxiety and depression. I’ve been a single mom. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve done things backwards more times than I can count. But through every season of my life, there has always been one constant—I knew I could be forgiven.
Sometimes I look at the world and it feels like we’re living on different planets while standing on the same earth. Some people are simply trying to survive, searching for clean water and basic necessities. When I think about that, I’m reminded of just how incredibly blessed my life is. I don’t know why God allows each of us to walk different paths, but I know I’m grateful for mine.
I’m thankful for my family. I’m thankful for the opportunity to raise my kids to know Jesus. I’m thankful for this platform and the chance to introduce some of you to Him. Maybe you’ve met Christians in the past who made you feel judged or unwelcome. I hate that if that’s been your experience.
I’m not perfect. Far from it.
I fall short every single day.
Sometimes I even wonder, “How can I represent Him when I still have so much growing to do?” But then I remember that Jesus has never used perfect people. He uses willing people. If He has allowed tens of thousands of people to see my content, then I’m going to say His name as many times as I can. If even one person finds hope because of it, then it’s worth every second.
I’ve been in church my whole life as a preacher’s granddaughter. Looking back, I truly believe the prayers of my grandparents have carried me through moments I didn’t even realize I needed saving from. I made the same kinds of mistakes many people make. I did things in the wrong order. But somehow, every time I wandered, Jesus was still there. He was always my North Star, patiently leading me home.
Today, I have something that money can’t buy—I have peace.
If something happened to me today, I know where I would spend eternity. That peace changes everything.
Everything else is a bonus.
Every laugh with my family.
Every treasure hunt at a flea market.
Every sunset.
Every hug from my kids.
Every show with all of you.
They’re gifts.
So slow down for a minute. Be thankful for the life you’ve been given. And if you feel like something is missing… pray.
Prayer doesn’t have to be fancy. I talk to Jesus the same way I’d talk to my best friend or someone sitting across the table from me. That’s the beautiful part—He wants a relationship with you.
Sometimes I wonder how God could love every single person as much as He loves me. Then I think about my own children. There is absolutely nothing they could ever do that would make me stop loving them. They may disappoint me sometimes, but they could never lose my love.
If that’s how imperfect parents love their children, imagine how much your perfect Heavenly Father loves you.
So if you needed this reminder today…
It’s never too late.
You’re never too broken.
No matter what you’ve done.
No matter where you’ve been.
No matter what you’re carrying.
Jesus is still calling your name.
Your life matters.
Your family matters.
Your future matters.
And you matter.
