💕 My Modern Mom was built from real life. I was sitting at the table with my babies, wanting something that actually worked to reduce mealtime stress. Something that looked good in my kitchen, but also made me feel intentional about what I was putting in my babies’ hands every single day.

Our plates come in modern, neutral tones that feel at home in your space. Our utensils are intentionally designed with wide handles to support little hands as they build grip strength, control, and confidence at the table.

This brand is especially close to my heart because I created it alongside my grandmother before she passed away. After losing her, I stepped away for a while to grieve and find my footing again….Last year, I decided to return to the brand, and since then I’ve been showing up every day as hard as I can.

Building a business while balancing a career, marriage, and motherhood is not always easy, but moments like this remind me why I started.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth and supported My Modern Mom at the Westside Shopping Extravaganza! I loved meeting new customers and reconnecting with customers from last year who shared that their children or grandchildren are still using our suction plates and utensils, don’t want to use anything else, or came back to purchase more. Hearing that warms my heart.

MMM had an amazing time interviewing with Louisiana First News this morning for Westside Shopping Extravaganza! 🥰🤍 WSSE is coming up THIS Sunday and if you’ve been wanting to see our products in person, this is the perfect opportunity.

You’ll be able to stop by our booth, see all of our toddler dinnerware sets up close, feel the quality, test out the suction, and really get a feel for the products before bringing them home.

As a mom of three, I designed these products for real everyday life, and I absolutely love getting to meet other moms and families face-to-face and hear how My Modern Mom is supporting mealtimes in your homes.

There are some dreams you don’t build alone. You build them with the people who believed in you before anyone else could see the vision.

My Modern Mom started with a conversation between me and my grandmother, Delores Hampton, who I called Momo. She was my person. The one I could call at 3 AM to talk through a big dream, share a new idea, pray with me, or simply remind me to keep going.

So when I think about My Modern Mom today, I don’t just think about the products. I think about the legacy behind them and the women who helped me believe that the little ideas in my heart could become something bigger.

And now I get to see my kids use the very products that came from a dream I once shared with her is a reminder that we really are building something that can be passed down.
