This week we're shining a light on sea urchins 🦔 — and yes, that's literally one of the ways we style them. 😄

A few of our favorite things to do with them:

💡 Put a light under one. Set a small LED puck under a urchin and the colors really pop and you see the pattern in a whole new way.

⛄ Stack them like snowmen. Big one on the bottom, smaller ones on top. Same species, different species, doesn't matter — it just looks really cool and shows off how much variation there is in size and color.

🌿 Stick an air plant in one. The opening makes the perfect little vessel. No soil, no fuss, and it looks like it belongs there.

In the near future, our Alister location, Loving Coastal Living, will be closing and merging into our Origins store location.

This means one combined space, the same coastal decor you love, and some good opportunities along the way. Keep an eye out for upcoming details, fixture sales, and major in-store discounts at the Alister location. Right now, everything there is 20% off.

It’s , and we’re getting up close and personal with one of our favorite pieces!

When you zoom in this close, it looks like the surface of the moon! But this intricate pattern is actually a piece of Octopus Coral!

💡 Fun Fact: Those tiny star-shaped ridges are where the individual polyps used to live.

The detail nature packs into these tiny structures is wild.
