Well, these are just some of my preferences and issues when it comes to antiquing. I LOVE antiquing and do not mind hunting/picking in many situations, but antique malls should be cleaner and more organized than a barn sale or pickers sale (to me).

But really, the negative vibes will absolutely kill your store and if I can't physically move through a booth, I'll just leave. I don't want to be on the hook for breaking something when I bump an item with my purse or butt.

What are your pet peeves or icks?

Oh, I forgot to add fragrance. I will turn around and leave in a heartbeat. Same with AI anything.

And yes, I know antique malls are different around the country. This is based on my personal experience.

I typically try to have a basket of relatively inexpensive little items in my booth at all times, and only just now had a chance to add this one at Olde Central! There is far more than I showed in this video, and I have a bunch more (especially vintage jewlery and cuff links) to add soon.

I also just brought in a dozen more butter pats, if you need some cute little dishes in your life!

Upstairs, I just brought some frames butterflies and insect specimens. 🦋

Hope you can visit the mall soon!

Sheila always has such wonderful pieces! I can't believe the sale price on that pie safe. 🫢

Just in case you need another reason to go antiquing...

Yes, it's an arbitrary goal so I understand if I don't make it, but I am so darn close, I just have to ask for help.

I didn't even tend to my booth for almost 2 weeks and this has easily been my month so far. Me last year would never even imagine this was possible!

Olde Central is open tomorrow from 11 to 5. I'll be popping by sometime to drop off more goodies. and can post to my stories when I do that if you want to see what I bring!

And I hope no one takes this as being greedy or anything. I so appreciate every purchase and may very well meet it on my own already. But if you needed a reason to visit the mall, maybe this would help. :)

So many of the tasks behind the scenes are tiny, but time-consuming. I'm usually cleaning, polishing, pricing, or packaging something and right now, my favorite reality show is here in Seattle!

Team Cam and Michelle over here. No spoilers!!

I have to smother a seething rage every time I see an AI flyer, vintage displays "enhanced" by AI, or people using AI to "create art" they paste onto vintage items.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but for real, we are missing the plot. Yes, we are all busy and running low on time. Yes, it would be nice to have nice quality images quickly and I know you didn't go to school for photography or graphic design, so those skills may feel like a stretch.

But it is just NOT worth it.

Trying to sell an antique handcarved wooden table with AI is honestly disgusting. I would rather see a poorly lit, messy picture or Canva graphic than AI slop and I am absolutely not alone.

Vintage loving folks, help me out! I have been buying up every cloche I find and love the idea of using a transferware plate as the base.

I want to make some sweet little scenes for my booths and haven't totally figured out the rest.

I do have moss. Old pictures. Those vintage little jello molds. Ephemera. Butterflies. All kinds of stuff!

I am looking for kind of cottage-y ideas, but am also open to more random options for my upstairs booth.

Douse me with inspiration, please!

This is where my love of vintage AND stationery fall in love with each other. Yes, I DO want my notepads to be sassy and vibey and also high quality.

I design these myself, print them on a fancy printer, cut, press, and bind them before packing them up for you!

It is a lot of work, but I love the heavyweight 28 lb paper and beautiful designs.

If you want to support a local weirdo and/or bring home some fun stationery for you or a friend, come check out my display at Olde Central in . I will be restocking often and I have more designs (including my most popular Pyrex designs!) that I'll be bringing soon.

Thank you so much!

RIP to the secondhand Lauren Conrad jeans I've loved for months. Why would they do my dirty like that?? I got some laughs out of it, and have a car FULL of treasures so it's all good.

Let's commiserate. Share your embarrassing stories so I can laugh during my lunch break before I head back out!

It's time! I just got home from resetting my downstairs booth for autumn. It took forever, but I love, love, love the ironstone and stoneware featured on the library table!

This little booth has been a tricky shape to work with, but it feels so much better already!

I'll be coming in soon to refill any gaps and move stuff around - tonight was a bit of a rush - but I hope you get a chance to visit soon!
