Here are some of the mushrooms I encountered on my first day in Minnesota. Despite it appearing dry, there are pockets of moisture where there's quite a diversity of mushrooms. A lot of wood decaying saprobes, but I have found several terrestrial mycorrhizal species as well. It's really fun exploring an area you're unfamiliar with and finding mushrooms that you've never seen before!

Cyanoboletus found today in Eagan, MN. This mushroom instantly turns dark blue when you look at it. 👀 Well, almost. The slightest touch turns it pretty much black.
