Port Orchard will be full of fun tonight. It’s time for our second night market of the season! And what a perfect night for it! There will be artisan and craft vendors; live music and if I am not mistaken, the beer garden is back! The festivities take place 6-10 pm. I gave my space in Josephine’s a little summer refresh last night! So come check it out today - we, like most lol of our Port Orchard neighbor shops, will also be open until 10 pm! Thanks for continuing to support local small businesses!

I’ve been home from my Minnesota visit for a few weeks now. (And I’m ready to go back soon!) Since returning, I’ve been hard at work transforming my space in Josephine’s to SUMMER and the celebration of our nations 250th Birthday! The first of the four summer Port Orchard Night Markets is tonight from 6 - 10 pm. There will be art and handmade goods vendors; food trucks and more! It will be a great night to come down and check out all the shops and market vendors!

I have been in my favorite little corner of Minnesota for a month now! Every time I start a post, I get distracted by the two cutest little girlies and all their shenanigans plus the golden retriever puppies that are three weeks old today! (And no - I’m not bringing one home!) But it is sad to say that Nanny Kris heads home next Tuesday. It’s always bittersweet when that time comes. But I did get some shopping in - and once again I’ve been filling the little barn. My hope is that we can come back late summer/early fall to retrieve all my goodies. But we shall see what the going rate for a tank of gas will be by then. But for now, I’ll just pack as much as I can!

I refreshed a couple areas the last two nights, getting ready for my next trip to my favorite corner of Minnesota! As I was loading up, I found seven pulleys, locker baskets galore and too many zinc tubs - so if you are in need of rusty garden treasures, then Josephine’s is where you need to shop!

Springtime is in full bloom in the PNW! And my space inside Josephine’s is filled with all the colors of spring. Looking for something special to add to your Easter decor? Then a visit to Josephine’s is a must - with over twenty vendors, the shop is sure to have something for everyone! The Port Orchard Farmers Market opens this Saturday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, so treat yourself to some fresh flowers and come by Josephine’s; grab a coffee at the Merc and make a day of it! We will be closed Sunday to celebrate Easter.

It’s taken me most of the week to switch over to Spring - even though I’m still half-expecting a frost in our future. But until then - Spring it is!!! The other vendors within Josephine’s have also been bringing in all kinds of great stuff! It’s a perfect weekend for some shopping. Thanks to all of you who continue to support our small businesses.
