A moment to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who had visited us on their trips to Maine, and who have brought your loved ones in when visiting, and our regulars who visit us weekly. We love you all. This summer has been nonstop in the best way possible.

Several weeks ago we hosted Trinity Mouzon Wofford in a beautiful intimate gathering at the shop to talk about her new book Eating at Home. We shared a conversation that stretched from what we learned about cooking from our families of origin to ways we’re shifting or leaning in now. We talked about component cooking, slowing down, savoring, simplifying, and enjoying. It was a rich conversation and I know you’ll get so much out of her book. A perfect read for that back to school mindset. We’ve got lots of copies in store and online for you.

Summer is in full swing and we are here for every drop of it. If you’re in Maine this weekend, swing by tomorrow evening (Sunday) for drinks and snacks and a lovely talk celebrating Eating at Home, our favorite new cookbook by Trinity Mouzon Wofford , who will be with us for the evening! Can’t make it in person? We’ll have signed copies on the site Monday. We can’t wait to see you!

This weekend!
Join us for a basket weaving class, hosted and taught by Erin Pollard of Underwater Weaving Studio. Together we will learn how to make rattan baskets that can be used as decor, for gardening, or as an everyday tote. The ticket price covers the cost of tools, materials, take-home instructions, and refreshments.. Expect fun vibes, hand-craft, and a rad community. The class invites guests to weave at their own pace, with assistance from Erin and team. No prior experience is required.
