Elana here with a little update:
For those of you new here, Una Pluma began 18 years ago as a passion project with a small store in Kathmandu. Our clothing is still produced in Nepal and our fabrics and sweaters come from India. Each year I take the journey East to visit our production team and starting 2/22 I will be spending 6 weeks traveling and dreaming and scheming!
First stop, South India (I havenāt been there since 2007) and am very excited to travel through Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka in search of some new woven fabrics. Specifically looking for natural dyed, hand loomed fabrics to create a new special collection.
Then I will be in Kathmandu (my favorite city in the world) working alongside our team on everything from new designs to full fabric prints and much more.
These trips honestly are my favorite part of the job.
