I love baby wearing. It has so many benefits! You can eat with both hands, fold laundry, or type any email. Babies often sleeping more deeply and longer when held. Parents can do skin to skin and you could even discreetly breastfeed while on the go in the carrier.
It also provides a bit of a barrier when out on the town between your tiny new baby and strangers you meet on the street. People are less likely to touch your baby without your permission if they’re nestled away in a carrier close to your body.
