Multi-tasking!! Despite me being fully focused on my creative endeavors I’ve been pulled and focused tremendously on my lab program ! The goal is finding balance in continuing to build my boutique and program! Y’all pray for me🤣 Nonetheless I’ve finally secured a seamstress within my budget! And hopefully within the next few months be announcing a soft opening so yall can see my goodies - not those goodies 😜 but what I’ve been working on!! Learning to be patient with myself as I navigate this new normal while being on a career sabbatical!

Restarting. Sometimes life pauses you… just so you can restart with purpose. Restarting doesn’t mean I failed—just that I’m brave enough to begin again. Slower. More intentional. On my own timeline. More focused. There’s power in stepping back and that’s what I’ve allowed myself to do! Uprooted. Relocated. Transitioned. Relearning my creativeness and seeing where this wave takes me 😊

Closed my eyes, counted to three,
and for a moment thought I’d slipped into someone else’s skin—
only to realize it was me all along.

I found myself walking the path of my own life.
Not steady, not unstable—
just grounded, no matter how the wind shifted each day.

Reset. Recharged. Recalibrated. Reformatted.
Standing here now,
supremely regal.

Restarting the Journey. Sometimes the path to success isn’t straight—it loops, detours, and occasionally calls for a fresh start. Restarting my entrepreneurial journey isn’t a failure; it’s a conscious decision to apply hard-earned lessons with renewed clarity and purpose.

Even small details pack a punch! I’ve never been a sucker for to many details when it comes to my style. Designer highs and lows. Subtle gawdyness with a bit of modesty. 7yo ago I decided to step out and fulfill one of my long-standing dreams of opening a boutique in my home state PDX!! Goal accomplished!! I’m so very proud of myself working hard in my career, school and building a successful boutique all while being miles away!! It was t easy boy I had some days where I wanted to give up. But I persevered and made it work for 7 years!!! Being a entrepreneur and a careerpreneur (bc I like a steady coinage) is not for the fate of heart!! Some days you look at the red and question your entire life!! You def think of the vacations you opted out and the bottle poppin celebrations you didn’t have lol but it was worth it!! I was able to donate massive items to a local black non-profit which filled my heart!! I thank everyone who supported, stopped by, offered an encouraging word and rocked Thirty27boutique items!! But don’t count us out all the way we be back just 100% online!! So, be sure to check back for our revamped website!!
