“My heart’s beating in my ear drums. I look up and see the switch backs raising towards the sky to seemingly no end and a pitfalls in my stomach. I have a long way to go. The group left me an hour ago. My partner of the time was staying with me but after arguing with him to leave me behind because I was too slow he finally listened. My chest is heaving but the sound of my heart drowns out the sound of my breathing. Now alone with my thoughts to myself all I kept on thinking about was… How the hell did I get myself into this situation again.”
