Do I really use all those smell goods I sell at The Cottage Shop?

Yes. Yes, I do. Guilty as charged!

There's just something about a house filled with wonderful fragrances that makes me happy!

On days when I'm home all day, it's not unusual for me to have a simmer pot going on the stove, several candles burning, my Ooh La lamps glowing, and a couple of wax warmers going, too.

Now, that may seem a little excessive, but I do have a pretty good-sized house! I usually stick with scents in the same fragrance family so they complement one another rather than compete. A little something different in each room, but everything blends together beautifully.

What can I say? I love my smell goods! 🙃🙈

There's just something about the warm fragrance of fall spices filling the house that makes everything feel extra cozy!

I've been using the Autumn Spice simmer pot at home, and oh my goodness, it smells fabulous! A warm blend of cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, almond, and other fall spices. It's quickly become one of my favorite ways to make the house smell like fall!

Handcrafted in small batches with natural and organic ingredients.

Just add to water, bring to a gentle simmer, and enjoy!

Check out our customer-favorite LED pillars and vases! I just love the beautiful detail, the crackle glass, and the warm glow they give off.

They're battery-operated (AA or AAA, depending on the style), with a built-in 5-hour timer. Set it and forget it!

The Candle Bar Special is sticking around a little longer! Just $15 for a 10 oz. candle (regularly $25)!

Create your own custom candle by choosing your favorite scented wax beads, scooping and layering them into a pre-wicked jar. Mix and match fragrances to make something uniquely yours!

Scoop. Layer. Burn.

Don't like burning candles? No problem! You can enjoy those same scented wax beads in your wax warmer instead. Just scoop out a little at a time and use them like traditional wax melts!

Autumn Market 2026 @ The Cottage Shop is in the books! Whew! What a day! 🍂

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to shop, eat, visit, and support small businesses today. Whether you shopped with me, supported one of our vendors, grabbed some tacos, loved on the baby goats, or did a little bit of everything...seeing the parking lot full and so many of you spending your Saturday with us means more than you know.

Vendor Spotlight: Tayo's Taqueria

I’m excited to welcome Antonio and Tayo’s Taqueria to The Cottage Shop for the first time!

Antonio started Tayo’s last year in Redkey as something he could do with his whole family. They proudly make their tortillas, salsas, and cheese dip by hand each day.

Tayo’s serves authentic street tacos, quesadillas, and nachos—and for Autumn Market, they’ll also be serving tortas!

If you haven’t tried Tayo’s yet, Saturday is the perfect chance. Stop by the trailer, grab some lunch, and help us give Antonio and his family a warm Cottage Shop welcome! 🌮
