We have a bittersweet announcement to make. If you have a moment to take out of your day, please read below.
At the end of February we will be putting an indefinite pause on Plugd. We have already stopped buying/consigning, but once Compound moves into it’s new location, Plugd will no longer be a part of the shop. The decision to shut down Plugd has not been an easy one, but we know in our hearts that this is the right move for us.
Since its inception back in 2016, Plugd has provided Portland with an abundance of high tier streetwear. From box logos to archival Japanese pieces - it has been a privilege to share clothing that we are passionate about with you and the rest of Portland.
Since Covid hit we’ve been operating both Plugd and Compound at a limited capacity - doing our best to uplift both sides of the shop but knowing it wasn’t enough. We came to the realization that we’re spreading ourselves too thin trying to balance both the resell and retail sides of the shop. So, instead of limiting ourselves to just maintaining both sides of the shop, we’re going to focus on one side of the shop in hopes of truly progressing Compound.
Words can’t convey the level of appreciation we have for you and the rest of our community. What we’ve done over the past 5 years; the memories we’ve made, the people we’ve met, wouldn’t have been possible without you. As we make this transition and Compound moves into its new location, your support is felt and valued more than ever before.
