Here’s a little wip…Friday? I think I mentioned I want to really narrow down my wips over the next month or so and actually figure out what pieces I want to finish or frog.

These are all of my wips I’ve been working on consistently (plus a swatch for a Rosie sweater that I can’t cast on until I finish some of my wips lol)

Pictured:

Vanilla sock

Auguste cardigan
Prospect pullover

The bigger accomplishment tho is all of these are using yarn from my stash 🤗

What are you working on?

HAPPY PEOPLE WE MEET ON VACATION DAY TO ALL! To celebrate I’m formally announcing our first sock set theme of the new club (if you’re wondering what I’m talking about, check out my last post where I detail everything about the club) obviously month one HAD to be our newest romcom to the movie world, People we Meet on Vacation!

This month’s mystery sock set will be moody and 70’s inspired in the coloring, based on some of the stills from the movie. I wanted to do something a little different for it as opposed to just going solely off of the book cover, but I will be keeping some orange and green in there don’t worry.

You can grab your entire subscription for the club or just the single listing for this month on Tuesday the 13th at 5pm pacific!

To recap a little, the club will offer two sock set options. Simple sock and Cashmere sock.

The Garden Party collection will be open for one more week! Since I launched right before Christmas and new years, I wanted to be sure I gave anyone who wanted to shop the collection some extra time to do so.

If you haven’t seen the garden party collection yet, definitely take a peek over on my website.

I wanted to make my little 2026 goals and vision board to share. I decided a make 9 is a bit too overwhelming for me, I get distracted by new patterns and change my mind a lot. But these are three sweaters I really want to knit this year that I already have yarn in my stash for. Which is very exciting!

Patterns shown:
Book club cardi -
Rosie sweater -
Campus cardi -

I also really want to build my hand knit sock wardrobe this year. I think there’s nothing cuter than hand knit socks poking out of boots or Birkenstocks

Another goal of mine is to finally learn how to sew this year! I keep telling myself I’ll take a class and then I never get around to it, but I’m for sure going to do it this year. If anyone has beginner sewing machine recommendations, I’d love to hear them.

What are your goals for this year?

So you’ve been seeing knitting all over your fyp huh? 2026 might just be the year you shoukd try it!

Knitting is such a fun and rewarding hobby, and it’s far less intimidating than it may seem. You can find such a wealth of knowledge about it online or I bet there’s a yarn store near you that does classes.

I love knitting and making my own sweaters. Once you get a feel for what fits you properly, you can make such a more cohesive wardrobe.

If you haven’t started yet, this is your sign to get started!

2025 was the first year that I ever did a yarn advent and I feel like I learned a lot! One, holy hell it is a LOT of work. However, it is so rewarding seeing your hard work pay off in the end. I’m so happy with how the Vintage Kitchen Advent turned out, and now that it’s Christmas I can finally share!

I really tried to pull from 70’s colors, I was extremely inspired by rich brown, mossy greens, and bright oranges.

I already have a bunch of loose ideas for next years advent box, including how I can elevate packaging and everything.

If you ordered one, thank you so much again for your trust in me and the vision I presented. I hope you enjoyed it, and I hope you’re having a great day whether you celebrate Christmas or not.
