Last month Danny Mejia was the last runner standing at the Back Cove Backyard Ultra. The race consists of running one lap or “yard” on the hour every hour until you can’t. The last runner standing wins! Danny ran 36 laps or 150 miles!

Marathon Sports and Hoka rep, Julianna Roth, was there to provide runners with the opportunity to test out some of their models. Danny took advantage and ended up running 27 laps in a demo pair of mafate x! This demo pair carried him through the night and to victory!

We love witnessing success and joy within our community!
