My first quilt up for sale is called Serenity. This beautiful throw quilt is just the right size and weight to curl up under in a chair to read a good book. Peaceful colors make this a very feminine quilt. The border features a lovely rose and tea set pattern whose colors are picked up in the diamonds used in the alternating rows. Backed in a soft yellow and machine quilted with an open funky feathers pattern. $450.00.

Welcome to Limelight Quilts! My name is Sharon Lindsey. Many of my friends will know me as the cake lady. I was the owner of Canterbury Bakery for the past 3 years. After being diagnosed with celiac disease, I have had to close the doors on my baking. In order to deal with the upheaval of completely changing my eating habits, not being able to bake, and having to give up something I had dedicated almost 30 years of my life to learning, I have taken up quilting. I hope that you all enjoy the posts and will pass them along to anyone who might be in the market to buy one of these beautiful quilts.
