She loved spending time there with her pups, Lucy and Rosie, and all her family and friends. It was more than just a special place for her. In Nicole’s words, it was peace, joy, and a sense of normalcy for MJ when so much of her life was anything but.
She would apparently often tell her doctors that she only wanted two things in life—to be able to read, and to go to the dog park.
In lieu of flowers, we’d love for people to donate to the dog park so we can install a memorial bench in her honor that will enable other people to feel the same sense of peace and joy that MJ did. It would mean the world to all of us.
