As a society, we often take mothers as a given. 🌸

Today, we spoil them with flowers and gifts. It’s a beautiful gesture, but it would be even more beautiful if mothers received the respect they deserve every single day. We tend to take them for granted: our therapists hear all about how they might have “traumatized” us, while the immense sacrifices they made often go unspoken.

The same way we take mothers for granted, we take for granted Mother Nature. 🌎

What becomes of us when she’s no longer there to take care of everyone? Her work goes unnoticed while we add more to the landfill and deplete her resources.

This Mother’s Day, let’s give some genuine love to the human mothers out there: and let’s remember that Mother Nature deserves our care, too.

HAPPY EARTH DAY! 🌎✨ Elmyda here, and I’m buzzing with artistic energy today! 🎨

You know those LeftKneePatch boxes and little scraps of paper? Before they head to the bin, let’s turn that "trash" into TREASURE!

Earth Day is the perfect excuse to get messy and creative with the kiddos while teaching them about circularity. Here are my favorite TRASH TO TREASURE tips:

1. THE BOX IS THE CANVAS 📦: Flip those shipping boxes inside out! The plain cardboard is the PERFECT base for a giant mural, a dollhouse, or a 3D robot adventure.

2. FABRIC FUN 👗: Got an old scrap of fabric or a tag? Use them to give your cardboard creation some funky texture and color. Collage style!

3. NATURE COLLAGE 🌿: Head outside, find some fallen leaves or twigs, and glue them onto your masterpiece for a mixed-media look.

The goal isn't a museum piece... it's pure PLAY! Plus, keeping things out of the landfill is the best gift we can give the planet. 🏆

Hey everyone, Ozry here! Pa-ra-did-dle 🥁✨

My grandma always asks me, 'Ozry, why the drums?' Why not something more…classical?’

Well, let me tell you, kindergarten is TOUGH. 😅 Between learning my ABCs, sharing the blue crayon (which is high-stakes, let me tell you), and trying to concentrate during reading time... it’s a lot of pressure!

But when I get behind my kit? Everything else just fades out. 🎧 The rhythm is where I find my 'cool.' Every beat I hit is a little bit of that playground stress leaving my system. It’s my creative outlet, my loud space, and my way of saying, 'Yeah, I got this!' ♿️💪

I haven’t told my homeroom teacher this, but when the rest of the class is analyzing the story we’re reading, I’m humming out some shapes. Maybe she can hear me, I don’t know!
