When I went to market, one thing I was really hoping to find was an apparel company that could help us create something different for Twenty-Nine 13. Not something you'll see everywhere else. Something that felt like us.

I loved their apparel, but when I learned the heart behind the company, I loved it even more. You know how much I love finding companies that work for a purpose rather than simply a profit. This one checked that box and several others.

WHY PREORDER?

The colors pictured are the colors you'll see coming into the shop, but this first order is a pretty big investment for a small business, so quantities will be limited.

Once a color or size sells out, we may not be able to get it back in until we're ready to place another sizeable order.

Preordering during these 24 hours is the only way to guarantee you get exactly what you want.

And one more important note: the Women's Weekenders will NOT be stocked in the shop. They are available by preorder only.

The designs and ink colors shown are exactly how they will be printed and cannot be changed. We've intentionally chosen the garment/color combinations listed above, so those will be the only preorder options available.

I was blessed to see one of my favorite faces from one of my favorite places today.

Can you believe this beautiful soul is celebrating 39 YEARS at Belgrade State Bank TODAY?! I think we can all agree that we love seeing her smiling face when we walk into the bank!

What a blessing it was to help her pick out a gift for a very special friend who is turning 80. But here's the best part...the birthday girl is the very person who hired her 39 years ago! How sweet is that?!

Happy 80th Birthday to a very special lady, and Happy 39th Work Anniversary to one of our favorite faces! What a beautiful reminder of the relationships God brings together as part of our story!

We love you Darlene Gallaher Graves!!

I mentioned this one the other day, but I think it deserves a post of its own.

The Discovery Bible is a beautifully illustrated NLT Bible—and it’s the WHOLE Bible, not just selected Bible stories. It’s recommended for ages 8–12, but I say all ages!

I love that this gives young readers a way to discover God’s Word, His story and how it all fits together in a way that draws them in and makes them want to keep reading. It's been over two years in the making and such a beautifully, thoughtfully created Bible for kids.

And Christmas will be here before we know it. What better gift can we give than one that encourages someone to open the Word of God?

Sometimes I feel like being vulnerable is hard, but most of the time, I feel like it's simply more growth. Sharing my heart isn't to draw attention to myself—it's to turn it around and point to the One who is responsible for literally turning my frown upside down.

Brush in hand, music on the speaker and just a few minutes to spare, I began painting the bench that sits out front. It's part one of a project you'll hear more about soon.

That time I spent outside was my "Bible study" this morning.

A migraine at 4 a.m. kept me from spending the time I wanted in the Word, but it didn't keep me from spending time with Him.

When I walked around turning the lights on this morning, I stopped in The War Room to see what Scripture the Bible was opened to. I do that every day to see if someone has highlighted or written in it. Daily, it has been something different.

Today, it was the God wink I needed.

I didn't finish the bench until this afternoon, just after closing, but before the day was through, I got to see the fruit of obedience and answers to prayer as not one, but TWO Random Acts of Kindness quilt squares were claimed.

Knowing where each of these went, I think both the giver and receiver will be equally blessed...but isn't that the point?

We often receive more than we give when we give selflessly, with heartfelt intentions.

By the end of the day, several prayers had been prayed and MANY tears had been cried—not just by me, but by men and women alike.

Someone thought enough about their experience at the shop to ask me how it all came together, saying, "I've never seen anything like this."

Then, as I shared my testimony, I watched two men tear up.

And then they shared theirs.

Friends, can I tell you that faith knows no age, race or gender? God is a lover of all people, and there is something incredibly powerful about connecting with other believers AND sharing our testimonies with one another.

Today I was humbled by several experiences, brought to tears, led to pray and filled with the Holy Spirit in a way that many look to a whole experience for.

God is faithful to meet us where we're at, teach us what we need to learn, then send us off to the next leg of our journey a little more prepared than when we started the day.

As I type this, I find myself exhausted from all the Lord has worked through today.

I know I say this often, but it is a true blessing to do what I do. To be used by the Lord in any way He chooses is a blessing. Then to see His hand in things, to watch Him show up time and time again...well, you can't get that just anywhere.

I pray He continues to use this shop as a conduit to a deeper, more intimate connection with Him - not only for myself, but for those who need a gentle nudge and find that God wink in a little piece of heaven on earth right here in Potosi, Missouri.

So here's the bench, before and after, along with the page the Bible was turned to this morning and the remaining two quilt squares I pray are taken tomorrow.

💜 FRIDAY FAVORITES 💜

This Friday, we’re featuring two of my favorite people and a few of their favorites!

Meet Amajalea and Sabyn.

These beautiful girls are frequent visitors to the shop, and sometimes they stop in just to give me a hug and wander around for a while. They’re my favorite kind of people—the ones who walk through the door and immediately make my day a little better.

And after spending plenty of time around here, they definitely have their favorites!
