Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today with thanks for something so special that happened yesterday. Sometimes people step into our day and we automatically have our minds made up about them. But yesterday, Your Spirit within me told me there was something different about these ladies. As I listened to what some would have thought was going to be a sales pitch, I heard with my Jesus heart three ladies who are simply doing what they can to continue walking in Your ways. I was able to hear their stories, give several hugs, and oh... the prayer in The War Room. It was so sweet.

And this wasn't all. Your presence was made known all throughout the day. As several of us prayed for friends of friends, the prayer was answered quite literally as we were praying.

Father, I know the enemy sees me as a threat because, well... I am. He can't have me back. I will not go backwards. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow will have its own worries, so I will stand in what You have for me today.

He tried to steal my joy last night—the beauty that I felt from that entire day—and even woke me up with it on my heart again. Then he tried again as I went to spend time with You.

And guess what? Take two starts now.

It started with prayer from a friend, a prayer of thanksgiving, and sitting right back where I started to have my time with You.

You know what we need before we even ask. Lord, I've done all I can do, and many of my friends feel the same way. Lord, now it's time for You to do what only You can do, and for us to sit back, be still, and know that You are God.

Lord, I think this morning about this beautiful Christmas ornament that came in a little early. It reminds me of a Scripture that keeps popping up in so many different places.

"Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it." — Hebrews 13:2 (NLT)

Lord, You gave me an experience recently that I want to share, but I need You to give me the right words at the right time. For now, I'll just share this Scripture because I think each of us needs the reminder that how we treat each other matters.

Words can speak life or death. There is power in the tongue. We have an opportunity to be Your hands and feet, sometimes in what seem like such small ways. But who knows? The one person You gave the time of day to could be the one who changes the world, and it all started with a seed that you planted.

There are a lot of people struggling this morning, Lord, and I lift them up to You. There are people in situations that are far beyond anything their flesh can handle, but there is nothing that You can't handle. Be with those starting over, those who have lost so much, and those you are bringing alongside them as they rebuild their lives.

As we walk into today, let us be in agreement with one another for rescue, resolution, reconciliation, and peace that surpasses all understanding. We don't need to understand it. We just need to receive it because You give it freely.

I love You, and I praise You.

It's in Jesus' Mighty name I pray, Amen.

💜 Friday Favorites 💜

One of my favorite things about the shop is that every room has its own personality...and every room has something that makes me smile every time I walk by.

So I took a little walk around the shop and snapped a picture of some of my favorites to share with you. Check the captions for a little intro on each of these fun favorites!

Now for the fun part...which favorite of today's Friday favorites is YOUR favorite?

Happy Friday, friends!

You know who needs grace today?

YOU.

You've been so hard on yourself, expecting to carry things that were never your burdens to bear. The Lord helps us discern what He has called us to and what is simply weighing us down, but so often we miss it because our natural tendency is to step in when He is asking us to step back.

A good friend said awhile back that the Lord can do more with our prayers than our good intentions. That has stayed with me.

Maybe you're a fixer. An empath. A doer who genuinely loves to help. But can I tell you something I've learned through personal experience? Not every problem is yours to solve. There is wisdom in knowing when it's time to act and when it's time to pray. But you can't know the difference if you're not spending time with the One who created time itself.

So may this be a gentle reminder that before you act, before you speak (because your words have more weight than you realize), before you promise to do something that you don't even know is in His will...pause and spend time with Him first.

"You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart." — Jeremiah 29:13

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5-6

Friend, I think you need a break from the hustle.

Maybe you're tired because you've taken on something—or maybe many things—that God never asked you to carry.

Trust Him. Let Him do the heavy lifting. The world doesn't need more of your striving; it needs more of your obedience. And when you're walking in His will instead of running ahead of it, He can do what only He can do.

It has been over a year in the making, and I'm so excited to finally share that it's happening!

Please help me welcome M4 Naturals to Twenty-Nine 13! 🌿

We're in the beginning stages of this new partnership, and I'm excited to see it continue to grow over the coming months. M4 Naturals carries Rowe Casa Organics, and we're starting by bringing in a selection of their products with even more to come.

If you're not familiar with Rowe Casa Organics, they're known for creating clean, non-toxic products for your home, body, and wellness using thoughtfully selected ingredients. Their goal is to provide products families can feel good about using every day.

One of my goals for the shop has always been to offer products that care for the whole person—spirit, body, and soul. Adding more natural wellness products has been on my heart for a long time, so this partnership is especially exciting for me.

Kaci and I have been talking about making this happen for well over a year, and it's such a blessing to finally see it come together. This is just the beginning! We'll continue adding products and expanding the selection as we grow.

I'd love for you to stop in, welcome M4 Naturals to the shop, and take a look at everything that's starting to fill the shelves. And if there's a Rowe Casa product you've been hoping to find locally, let us know!

When a Christmas purchase puts such a smile on your face that you know, without a doubt, they just can't wait until Christmas...

I wanted to share a little something that's important to me about these new additions to the shop. Over the coming weeks, I'll be introducing four new brands that help preserve traditional craftsmanship, promote ethical and sustainable business practices, and create meaningful opportunities for artisans around the world.

These adorable finger puppets are handmade by talented female artisans in Nepal and Bali, and every purchase helps support their work and their families. That's the kind of Christmas shopping I can get excited about.

Now for the important questions...

Can you guess which one is my favorite?

And tell me...which one is YOUR favorite?

The shop is open 12-5p Wednesday-Thursday and 10a-3p Friday-Saturday. See you soon friends!

The Bead Project is back! 💜

After nearly selling out of the first order, I was so excited to bring in a restock...plus a few new pieces!

The cross bracelets everyone has loved are back. Lots more colorful bracelets so you can create your own stack. Traditional African-colored necklaces have been added. And one of my favorite new arrivals...beautiful 8-foot bead garlands that can be displayed in your home or even worn as a necklace!

One of the reasons I love carrying The Bead Project is because every piece has a purpose. These handcrafted beads are made by women in Pader, Uganda through a nonprofit that provides sustainable employment, resources, and hope to women rebuilding their lives after unimaginable hardship.

They're meaningful gifts at a great price point, and every bracelet, necklace, and garland tells a story far bigger than itself.
I can't wait for you to see them in person.

And fair warning...it's hard to leave with just one.

07/06/2026

I want to talk to the 13-year-old you for a moment.

God is going to bring people into your life who speak life into you, but He's also going to allow a few who take that life right back out of you.

Your tendency will be to pour more of yourself into the relationships that are the least nurturing because your heart wants to give and your flesh wants to be loved. Naturally, you'll do everything you can to earn the love of those who are often the worst at showing it.

But I need to tell you something, sis: the people who love the spotlight more than they love you are not the ones who deserve the deepest parts of your heart.

A few good friends—or even one truly good friend—is far better than a thousand who don't understand what friendship really means.

Your circle may be large, and that's okay. But your inner circle should be well thought out, protected, valuable, and God-blessed.

If we're not careful, we begin treating others based on how we've been treated, how we're being treated, or simply how we're feeling. But as followers of Christ, we're called to do the opposite—to let who we are in Him determine how we love others.

And while we're called to love everyone, we're not called to give everyone equal access to our hearts.

Maybe this wasn't for the 13-year-old you after all.

Maybe it's for the you who still finds yourself chasing the approval of people who don't know how to love you well. Maybe it's for the you who has forgotten that one sweet, God-ordained friendship can refresh a weary soul more than a hundred surface-level relationships ever could.

I've learned that one of God's sweetest gifts is a friend who points you back to Him, speaks life over you, and refreshes your soul. Those friendships are rare. Protect them. Pray over them. Thank God for them.
