This truck had a pto issue / wouldn’t engage. Checked the relay and felt it click when commanded, course we checked at the pto and the meter showed voltage but we still had no pto . A quick load test with a light bulb and we could see there was a problem, back up to the relay and the testing was the same . Opened the relay up and found water damage and heavily pitted contacts . We relocated the relay to a better spot and fixed an unrelated starting problem and see ya later ✌️

Here’s your Friday tip , a filter change and valvebody isn’t gonna fix that 5/6th incorrect gear ratio code !

But the good news is I can, and usually much cheaper than a full rebuild too !

Got a be**er truck that lost 5/6 ? Or you’re a used car dealer that got burned on a trade that needs OD clutches ? Need that work truck to make it thru till the big job is done and you can boot it ???

Seriously, we do a ton of these so before you finance a transmission let’s speak on it 😎
