We are proud to announce that once again, City Corporation water has won the People’s Choice Award for Best Tasting Water in the nation! This month we attended the annual American Waterworks Association National Conference and Exposition that was held in Washington D.C.. There were 32 national entries and around 11,000 conference attendees from all over North America that voted for our water. The contestants each qualified in regional contests throughout the past year. There were two water tasting competitions held at the conference. One is a panel of three judges that look at the clarity and the taste in a more technical review. We finished in the top five in the nation for this competition. The second competition held at the conference is called the “People’s Choice” and is a blind taste test for all the attendees at the conference to vote on which is their favorite. We won the People’s Choice Award in the blind taste test in the nation for 2026! This is our second time to win this award, our first win was in 2016. We are super proud of our hard-working employees that help provide the high quality of water to our community! It definitely takes a team including our maintenance, construction, service, office, and operator workers and we want to thank them for all their dedication to our community! What an awesome team to sponsor! These kids put God first and played a great season! No matter what, these kids never gave up. From long practices, sweat, and tears.. to home runs, ball game wins, and playing as a team.. They have played with their hearts on their sleeve! They won 3rd in district after fighting their way out of the losers bracket. What a major comeback for their first year. Proud of you, boys!
