So… It was JUST announced that Public Storage is buying NSA. They are the parent of the storage company we’ve used for our personal storage for years and had PLANNED to move into an office front unit in but had been waiting for our approval—guess we know why the long delay now. We discovered that today’s announcement pretty well squished that… sooo… pivot we shall. Perhaps even have an update as quickly as tomorrow. 🙀

If your idea of what Whatnot has to offer you as a buyer is based on having been in “big name” shows, you’re missing all the deals! Stop fighting over that overpriced item in a room of 100, 200+ and go check out the hundreds of smaller sellers often bringing the same products without the crazy bids. Check reviews and go with vibes but I’ve gotten some INCREDIBLE buys just hanging out in rooms of 5-30 instead of following the crowds. Plus, you’re supporting these newer/smaller sellers who are still trying to find their place.

Stop buying stuff because “someone might want it.” Start buying stuff because “EVERYBODY is gonna want it.”

Such a simple mindset shift, but I think it’s going to change the way I source for Whatnot.
