Call me lame but I have a little “black book” of people I see back out of raid trains for seemingly no reason or flimsy excuses, people who raid the next seller late, people who don’t follow train rules, etc. not only are they folks I don’t really consider inviting to trains I’m associated with but honestly I try to avoid being around them on trains—I just see them as potential trouble. 🤷‍♀️ People notice!

Okay I have very cautiously dipped my toes in Vinted after some of the stories. But honestly I’m treating it like a non-reseller would. I’m just moving stuff out I don’t want to see. Comps? What’s that. Putting a price I think someone would pay and then taking a reasonable offer it it presents itself. I’ve sold 4/6 items listed very casually over the last couple of weeks (life’s been lifing lol) a few extra bucks to put in the Starbucks fund will be awesome. Definitely recommend if you’re NOT a reseller and just want to clean your closet!

Let me be candid for a moment: life at JacksTreasures is a bit of a mess right now.

Brian’s mom passed away Sunday, and we’re also juggling several family matters, possibly replacing our only vehicle, and uncertainty surrounding the warehouse we’ve spent months planning for. Our business is in a major transition, and honestly, I don’t know what next month will look like.

That’s why reselling content is on pause. Right now, I’m shipping orders, selling enough to keep food on the table, and simply getting through life.

For the next couple of weeks, please enjoy the cat pictures and come hang out during our Whatnot raid train shows. I’ll still be there so I don’t let anyone down—but that may be all I can manage for now.

We’ll be back. I promise. ❤️

People have asked why we bother digging through all the boxes of paperwork and mail when we clean out storage units. This is just one reason why. We found 22 Y2K era Coach catalogs in a box of mail in our last storage unit. I’ve listed them all around the $50 mark, and the first 5 just sold!
