Another Fashion Week has come and gone, but great fabrics are always here at Hiltons Princeton.

Most trends are just a pendulum. What feels new today often appeared 30, 40, or even 100 years ago before swinging back into style.

One trend we’d happily welcome back? The high rise trouser.

For decades, higher waists were the standard. They created a cleaner silhouette, sat comfortably at the natural waist, and allowed for better movement throughout the day. Sitting was easier, the drape was more flattering, and the extra room through the seat and rise made trousers far more comfortable than many of their low rise successors.

As menswear continues to rediscover classic proportions, we’re seeing more gentlemen return to trousers that prioritize comfort, elegance, and versatility. Some trends are worth revisiting.
