Some events don't need to be big. They just need to be the perfect amount of weird.
Whaleathon is exactly that: the community showing up just because it sounded like a good time, and a true test of your legs and your sanity.
Our athlete, Ethan Hardacre, ran it on our behalf and absolutely killed it, with good vibes, 630 laps around the SLC Whale, and even a BGA kit that matched it. Here's how he described it:
"I loved every time we switched directions. Felt so good to give that inside leg a break! But usually about 5 minutes in I'd want to switch directions again."
Sometimes the small events are the ones with the biggest personality, which is why we are so stoked we got to be a part of Whaleathon 2026 and can't wait to see this event continue to grow.
