Another vendor at the Castleton VT American Legion Show is Nanny’s BEADazzled Creations. Lucia these are incredible.

Saturday's craft fair (Castleton VT Legion 10-3) will also have my good friend Lucia Osborne-Foley and her fabulous BARN QUILTS! Way to go Nanny's BEADazzled Creations. Many different sizes of Barn Quilts will be available. Get one for mom for Mother's Day and another one for Dad for Father's Day!

Guess what? Let's kick off May with a craft fair. The Mother's Day Vendor Fair & Outdoor Flea Market. Where: Castleton American Legion. When: May 2nd 10-3. So come to honor Mom and get her a fantastic gift for Mother's Day! And this event benefits local Veterans. Update: Still cloudy, snowy and pure Vermont weather. Been working on "de-Christmasfying" the house and product testing. PLEASE "LIKE/LOVE", "COMMENT", "MAKE SUGGESTIONS". Small businesses need feedback. Especially when product testing. Plus January is perfect time to start preparing for spring craft fairs.

Just finished my third nesting fabric bowl! The pattern has two more larger sizes to be sewn. My husband has suggested making them in white and yellow. I like the idea of yellow to keep the primary color theme going. Would purple make sense for the biggest bowl. I'm not crazy about using solid white as white shows dirt so quickly. PLEASE comment with your ideas for the last two colors. Once the colors are decided, a trip to Michael's will happen to purchase those solid colors.

It's January here in Vermont. Cloudy, dreary and COLD. Perfect time to get cozy in the sewing room and work on some new product testing. New Product? Nana was surfing Face Book the other day and discovered a fabric designer's page (So Treasured Patterns & Sewing Adventures) for nesting fabric bowls. Nana was in love.

Bought one of the bowl patterns and started to play. The construction is reminiscent of the fabric boxes Nana used to make. But nesting bowls is a new twist. Nana selected the third size of five for her first test bowl. A bit of a learning curve, but Nana is please with the result. Next up, to do the other four sizes. Should they all be red or each one a different color? Speak up & let Nana know which you'd like to see. I can see these at my next craft fair--in lots of colors and fun fabrics.
