Meet the Wrenchbots.

It started with Joebot — a robot sculpture made from old wrenches and hardware. Then things escalated.

Now there’s a whole roster. Snowbot patrols center field. Growbot is out in left field tending the garden instead of watching the game. Probot is the designated hitter. Number 4, naturally. Mowbot keeps the field in shape.

And just in time for Father’s Day, there’s a new addition to the team: Merlotbot. Catcher. Excellent at receiving. Less focused on throwing anything back.

Each Wrenchbot is handcrafted by artist Fred Conlon of Sugarpost from repurposed tools and hardware. No molds. No assembly line. No second chances.

We only have one of each player in stock, so when a Wrenchbot gets called up, he’s off the roster until management trades for a replacement.

A new batch of GeoGraphic Gems by Marcia Passos just arrived — earrings and necklaces handcrafted from issues of the magazine. They get marbleized into one-of-a-kind gems, so what comes out is pure color and pattern. Abstract, wearable, and a little bit nerdy in the best way.

This just in! No, like LITERALLY seven minutes ago.

Our newest creator is Velo Bling Designs from Buena Vista, Colorado. Folks out there in those big, rectangular states know how to repurpose. Velo Bling’s creations are made from recycled bicycle parts sourced from local bike shops and manufacturer scrap, transforming cycling hardware into surprisingly wearable art.

With Pride Month just getting underway, we couldn’t resist these rainbow bracelets and earrings made with colorful bicycle spoke ni***es.

Full disclosure: the ni***es are new.

Yes, they’re really called spoke ni***es.

No, we are not mature enough to avoid mentioning that.

Forks have spent centuries helping people get food from plate to mouth.

John Marchello had other ideas.

Using vintage silver-plated forks, he creates necklaces that are equal parts jewelry, sculpture, and conversation starter.

These sunglasses used to be skateboards.

Not skateboard-inspired. Not skateboard-themed. Actual skateboards.

WUDN (pronounced “wooden”) sunglasses are crafted from broken and discarded skateboard decks, with the colorful layers of the original wood still visible in every frame.

They also happen to have polarized lenses, UV400 protection, anti-glare coatings, and spring hinges. Because looking cool is nice, but being able to see is helpful too.

And for every pair sold, a tree gets planted.

Not a bad second act for a skateboard.

Last week, we introduced a shipment of climbing ropes that retired from keeping people alive on cliff faces and somehow found themselves holding up pants in Provincetown.

We promised they’d eventually get their photoshoot.

After a series of unreasonable demands and extensive negotiations, the belts finally agreed.

Photos of all the climbing rope belts currently in stock are now posted on Repurfect.com, so you can browse every color and pattern online.

Shop online, stop by the store, or simply appreciate that these ropes have had a more adventurous life than most humans.

Christine Meegan's pottery pendants landed ten days ago. Now the necklaces are here, too.

Sterling silver, sea glass, and ceramic shards pulled from beaches and forgotten sites—each one finished by hand in her Truro studio. The kind of thing that looks like it has a history, because it does. Patterns and glazes made by someone else's hands, decades ago, now worn around your neck.
