Introducing DECE Lorry Tarp Bags—proof that a little road wear only makes a good story better.

These sturdy, weatherproof bags began life as truck tarps, racking up miles before being cut and sewn into something entirely new. Their faded colors and perfectly imperfect marks aren’t flaws; they’re the evidence of a life well lived. We’re obviously in love with this blue, but they do come in other colors.

Fair trade from Romania, no two are alike, because no two truck tarps have traveled the same road. Find your favorite at Repurfect.com—and give a former workhorse its next adventure.

Remember Spirograph? You didn’t finish a single spiral before losing interest and letting those plastic gears sit in a drawer until your mom put them in a rummage sale. Well, Todd Krieger of December West found them there, added Swarovski rhinestones, and turned them into stunning earrings. Yes, these might actually be made from YOUR childhood set!

Todd took thrifted, well-loved Spirograph pieces and set crystals directly into the gear holes where the pens used to go. Because they are upcycled from real, vintage sets, each pair has its own minor flaws and unique personality—meaning left and right aren't always identical twins.

They range from a subtle 1-inch gear to massive 3.75-inch statement pieces. Check out the photos to see the scale, and grab a pair at Repurfect or Repurfect.com before someone else buys your childhood back!

Folks already loved the clean, timeless look of the original WUDN Skatedeck Sunglasses. Now, it’s time to meet their wilder, street-ready younger brother: the WUDN Handrail.

While the originals feature classic full-wood frames, the Handrail drops the bottom rim for a sleek, aggressive stainless-steel underline. The top wood brow and temples are still handcrafted entirely from upcycled, broken skateboard decks, but the new look completely flips the script with an edgy, exposed metal frame.

You get the same elite polarized protection you expect from WUDN, but with a raw, rebellious new attitude. Available at our Provincetown shop and Repurfect.com in brown and black, we told our email friends about these on Thursday. You only have yourself to blame if your choice is sold out. When making an aluminum can ornament of the Bay State, you have to leave room for artistic license! Let’s be honest: Massachusetts is an odd shape with lots of islands and jutty-out parts. If we included the Cape Cod Canal, everything from Bourne to Provincetown would just fall off!

In real life, the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges keep Cape Cod stapled to the rest of the state so it doesn't float away. Luckily, the Massachusetts Aluminum Can Ornament from Seatree Studio keeps it all together—Cape Cod included!

Last week we introduced Provincetown to artist Judy Hurlburt, and shared the news with our newsletter subscribers. Today, we share her story and her work with you scrollers.

For 40 years, Massachusetts artist Judy worked in the nonprofit sector, helping others recognize their potential. Then, while looking for a way to decompress from the demands of that work, she uncovered another talent of her own. In 2022, she began transforming old tools, tarnished silverware, and other discarded objects into art.

Now retired, Judy has turned that creative outlet into Re-Purposeful. Recently she brought to Repurfect a collection of her kinetic sculptures — many of which have already found their forever homes.

Our admittedly less-than-professional photos don't do them justice. In person, Judy's gift for grouping unrelated objects into something whole is impossible to miss. If you're unable to visit, you can see more (but, unfortunately, not better) photos at Repurfect.com.

Today we're serving up two different dishes, each with its own distinct flavor.

The Hummingbird rests on an 8" enamelware plate that wears its age proudly — chipped black rim, speckled glaze, decades of use before it ever grew wings. The bird itself is built entirely from vintage jewelry in blues and silvers: faceted beads for feathers, a tiny charm stamped "wings" tucked into the wingtip, and — inexplicably — a small fish charm riding along for the flight.

The Skull, meanwhile, is quite literally served on a silver platter — a 12" ornately engraved tray, scrollwork and all. Pearl strands form the brow and jaw, a floral medallion sits where a third eye might go, and the eye sockets are faceted stone, catching light like something between jewelry and a memento mori. Elegant, a little eerie, entirely bejeweled.

Both are the work of artist Danielle Nathan, whose mosaic reliefs are pieced together from vintage jewelry — brooches, earrings, loose beads, and other small treasures — reassembled into shapes their original owners never saw coming. From across the room, they read as art. Step closer and it's hundreds of small decisions.

These original works of art can be shipped and are available in store or at Repurfect.com.
