I have experience in most areas of sewing, but find myself predominantly performing formal wear alterations to make a living. I actually enjoy the tedium of alterations. I like that it allows me an opportunity to improve the quality of someone's experience of an important event; nobody deserves to be stuck in an uncomfortable dress for hours (especially if it's supposed to be the happiest day of their life).

One more happy bride is going home with her stunning wedding gown. Alterations done: side seams taken in, front panel remodeled, hemmed 4 layers, lace appliqué removed from bottom and sewn back to a proper length.
