⭕️‼️❗️⭕️ - Go Buckeyes!!!

Here is my last creation...this is the Ohio State quilt I made to support my friend, Melvin, who is battling cancer.

We are having a raffle, with 13 fantastic prizes, and this is one of them!
I love how it turned out.

Ohio State panel surrounded by Ohio Star quilt blocks, finished off with the Buckeyes stripes!!! I used a gray backing, red thread, and a buckeye leaf with a buckeye for the quilting pattern! Also, peep the Brutus heads (last pictures) in the cornerstones (about a 1 inch square) on the four corners! 🤩

I absolutely LOVE it!! 😍❤️

Last one for today...I promise. I haven't posted anything in a long while, so it's overload today. 🤣

I fell in love with this quilt as soon as I looked at it!! 🌟 I think, if we ever get quilt classes started back up, this will be the first pattern that we will be using!! 🤩

For this quilt, I chose tan backing with navy blue stars. I used navy blue thread and for the quilting pattern, swirls with a star in the middle.

It was gorgeous! Thanks to Denise for allowing me to complete it! ❤️🤍💙

These were two adorable baby quilts that I made for Bernadine and Nancy Mclaughlin. They gave them to their niece for her baby shower...for twin boys!!

Aren't they so cute?!?!

We decided to use the safari panels to match the nursery theme. I made the pinwheel blocks different for each quilt...and mixed up the order of the animals, so each boy can have his own, unique quilt, but still similar!!

My mom decided to use the extra panel to make a little pillow to match the each quilt! 🥰 They were adorable!!

I used minky fabric (super soft) on the backing and the cutest baby safari quilt pattern. You might have to zoom in to see it!

Thanks to Bern and Nancy for entrusting me to make these special gifts! ❤️❤️

New quilt design...family photo quilt! 🥰😍

This quilt was made using the Hines family photos. I printed the photos onto fabric and made a beautiful keepsake quilt.

Jessica Lynn Leach had this made for her mom, Sue Hines, as a retirement/Christmas/birthday gift!

It made such a beautiful gift for Sue!! ❤️❤️

Thanks, Jess, for allowing me to create this beautiful gift! You are a dear friend and I'm glad that your mom loved the quilt! 😘

This was a memory quilt that I did last year!

This quilt was made for a 2025 Barnesville Shamrock graduate...Connor Starr.

☘️☘️My favorite part is the middle block...check it out! ☘️☘️

We chose to add green sashing between each square with shamrock cornerstones.I used a black backing with white green thread on the front and green thread on the back, with shamrock quilting! ☘️☘️ I did 2 borders, green and then a wider shamrock border! 💚☘️

Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks so much Amity Starr and Jesse Starr for allowing me to create this beautiful memory quilt for Connor! ❤️

This is my latest memory quilt! It turned out fantastic! I had to get creative with some of the items, but I thought it all came together nicely!

This quilt was made for a 2025 Barnesville Shamrock graduate... Grace Starr.

We chose to add shamrock sashing between each square with red cornerstones.

I used a white backing and green thread, with shamrock quilting! ☘️☘️
We settled on 3 borders, white with shamrocks, red and finally green! ❤️🤍💚

Thanks for checking it out!
Thanks so much Beth Ann Starr and Jeremy Starr for trusting me with all of these special items from Grace's life! ❤️

I have made one memory quilt (pictures will be posted in my next post) and I am working on another one for a graduation party at the end of the month.

I wanted to share a fantastic idea that my mom had...regarding t-shirt or memory quilts.

If you are considering having a t-shirt or memory quilt made for your child, start saving as they are growing. You should keep different shirts (or special items) as they are growing. And, to help with the cost, throw $5, $10 or $20 in the drawer or tote every time you add something. You could probably have enough saved when it comes time to have the quilt made.

Let me know if you have any questions! ❤️

So, it's been quite a while since I've posted...I have been keeping very busy!

Thanks for all of the new likes and views!! It is SEW appreciated! ❤️

I just wanted to share some information on quilts...in general.
1. Quilts should never be stored in plastic. They will mold and disintegrate over time.
2. If they are kept in front of windows, the fabric will fade.
3. You should refold quilts periodically to keep them from fading in the folds.
4. Rolling the quilts may be better than folding them and maybe store them in a pillow case or wrapped in a sheet.

Thanks for all the continued support! ❤️❤️

These baby quilts were so super cute. They were just quilt panels, but the cute quilt pattern really went well. Shirley Clouse had these made for a few of her great grandkids. She had the name and date embroidered on them to make them extra special. The farm animal pattern was the cutest! Check out a close up of the back to see the animals. 🤩

I did two green for the boys and two red for the girls!

My friend Stella made two separate deer quilts. On this one, I quilted deer tracks, in brown thread. The backing was a checked pattern...it was kind of light brown/tanish. It turned out great. My machine has so many cool patterns available. I used a different pattern on the second quilt, which I will show in the next post. 🦌
