This little flag is stitched from stories.

The blue field is made from tiny denim blossoms, each one hand-cut from worn-out jeans. The stripes are pieced together from rescued fabric scraps that might have otherwise been tossed aside. Together, they’ve become a pillow that’s full of texture, history, and heart.

What started as a never-worn shorts-and-bandeau set from a certain fast-fashion giant has been completely transformed into something far more charming. I took it apart stitch by stitch, lined it with a vintage tablecloth, and gave it a fresh new purpose.

Now this cheerful striped tote is ready for farmers markets, beach days, berry picking, and all the little adventures of summer. Proof that yesterday’s impulse buy can become tomorrow’s favorite bag.
