Due to the time it takes to sort items, our lack of storage space, and the cost to dispose of items we can’t use, we’ve compiled a list of items we will no longer accept. We appreciate your continued support and hope that this will make the donation process easier for us and for you. Also, items that will not fit into the big green donation bin should be left at the store during volunteer hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 10-12. Just ring the back doorbell and a friendly volunteer will be happy to accept your donation.

🧦Used socks, panties, boxers/briefs
➡️Used bed pillows and stained/heavily worn bed linens/towels
🛏Used mattresses and box springs
👟Dirty and worn shoes
👖Clothing with non-functioning zippers or missing buttons, stained/torn/heavily worn
🍼Stained baby items
🎎Small toys and those with missing parts, used stuffed toys that can’t be washed
🐁Items that have been stored in outdoor buildings/barns
🍳Stained dishware and cookware
🎥Non-working appliances and electronics
🐈Items that are covered in pet hair, come from smoky environments, or are heavily perfumed – these are potential health hazards for those with allergies.

This is unusual, but we are OVERWHELMED with donations at this time. We must ask for a pause of donations for a week to give the volunteers time to sort through everything. There’s barely room to walk through the receiving area due to all the boxes and bags! We’ll resume receiving donations Monday, August 31st. Thank you for your “overwhelming” support!🥰
