I have been busy this past month!! I just finished these 2 t-shirt memory quilts for a customer. I am super happy and excited about how they turned out!

A few weeks ago, a gentleman came to my door asking if I could do custom work. He needed someone to make a tie and pocket square for him, and he had the pattern and this beautiful fabric from the Netherlands.

Just finished a custom set of polo wraps for Jessica Leifson at Show N Color Performance Horses. This weekend will be High Brow Widowmaker (Jolene) debut in the Reined Cow Horse pen. They traveling to Camp Verde tomorrow. Good luck to all that are going.

Just finished cleaning these horse blankets. 16 of them!! It’s that time of the year. Time to pack away your winter horse blankets. But before you do, let Grandma’s Stitch & Repair Closet wash, dry and repair any rips or tears. We will check them for any repairable damage and send them back to you smelling fresh. All that for $20.00. Any repairs are an additional charge.

Blanket repair!! This horse blanket came in with the lining ripped. It also needed a little repair and reinforcement around one of the buckles. It came out really nice. Saved the owner from having to buy a new blanket.

Cloud boot Velcro replacement!! The Cloud boot was still in good shape, but the Velcro was worn out. I was able to remove the old Velcro and sew on new. The customer will get some more use out of these before they have to buy new ones.

This tent has been my project for the last month and a half! I had a gentleman want a custom tent to put on his trailer. The tent is about 8 1/2 feet long, 5 3/4 feet wide, and about 6 1/2 feet tall. The customer built a removable frame for the tent to fit over. I constructed the tent! The tent has 3 windows with "No See Um" mesh screen with roll down flaps that are secured with velcro. I sewed on velcro completely around the interior so a "p*e flap" could be attached on the inside. My customer is going to lay down carpet on the floor of the trailer and on top of the "p*e flap". The rear has a zippered flap with more of the "No See Um" screen mesh and a zipper. We also installed brass grommets on the bottom so that you can attach it to the trailer. We welded on custom made "d rings" to the trailer to secure the tent.

I am very pleased with the final product.

The warm weather is on its way. Time to put away the winter blankets. But before you pack them away, send them in for repairs and cleaning. I will wash and hang dry, inspect them for rips, tears, and broken straps.
