Even though this collection is on its tail end on the runway in NYC—I’m still creating new additions to showcase out of state on potentially out of the country. Making this body of work this year has been one of the greatest blessings for my fashion career. It has opened so many doors and generated unexpected reactions. This collection has filled adult me and kid me with joy. To have created something that only existed in your mind— to have done it all on your own— and to see the positive feedback—it has been an absolute blessing. I’m filled with gratitude. Lastly, this collection opened a door that was closed for maybe a decade or more. It unlocked an excitement in me that I haven’t felt in a minute. I can’t say much but there’s something very exciting coming soon.
