Its perfect weather for a trench!

Its been a while since Ive made a trench and I have been anxious to make another. 😊

A denim trench is such a cool piece to have in your wardrobe!
And there are so many great style options for trench coats that it can be so over whelming!

However, my #1 rule of thumb for choosing a trench that you want to last for years to come is to definately, choose a silhouette that flatters your body.

And the best part of making your own is you can add all the features that work for you and omit all the ones that don't, right?😉❤

I wanted something casual yet chic so I went for a raglan sleeve for this one. I skipped the double breasted buttons and went for a tie wrap. Martha by gave me all the above 😊👍🏽 Great Pattern!!!❤

Funny thing about Fall is every top I seem to make some how ends up doubling as a jacket!!

Well enough I guess, seeing as its chillier outside now!

As part of Fall tour I used the Naomi shirt pattern to create this cropped jacket! Its a great pattern and a quick one to pull together even with a few additions.

To give it the cropped jacket look
I added lining in the shirt, extended the cuff, made the collar bigger, added a elastic waistband and a few snaps. 😘👌🏽

Loving this pattern! So many ways it can be used in creating wardrobe pieces. I will definitely be sharing more soon!😉👍🏽
