I first want to say thank you for all the love and support we have received over the last month and a half.
Since May 18, life has changed in ways I never could have imagined. While this journey hasn't been easy, we are taking each day one step at a time with faith and grace, trusting that God is in control and has a plan for us.
Without the love and support of our village—which is all of YOU—I truly don't know where we would be. The meals, donations, gift cards, prayers, messages, visits, and endless encouragement have meant more than I ever could have imagined. We have felt surrounded by so much kindness and love, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
I still have months of recovery ahead of me, but I know that with God's guidance, the strength He provides, and the incredible support of my family, friends, and community, I will make it through.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for walking this journey with us, lifting us up when we needed it most, and reminding us that we are never alone. Every prayer, every meal, every gift, every message, and every act of kindness has reminded us just how blessed we are to have such an amazing village.
We love and appreciate each and every one of you more than you'll ever know. Thank you for loving us through this season, for continuing to pray, and for believing in us as the road to recovery continues.
God is good, and we know He isn't finished yet. We trust Him every step of the way. ❤️
As for True Faith, I'm going to start easing back into business as usual. While my recovery is still my top priority, creating has always brought me joy, and I'm excited to get back to sharing that with all of you.
Starting this week, This or That Tuesday is back! You'll also start seeing new designs, upcoming fall vendor shows, sales, and lots of other exciting things to come. Thank you for continuing to support my small business just as you've supported our family. It truly means the world to us! 🤍

One week later… and Monica has officially been home for TWO weeks! 🎉💜

The staples are out, her pain is becoming more manageable, and she’s moving a little more each day. Every step forward is a victory!

This weekend, she even ventured out for a special sibling dinner with her three sisters and their husbands. What a blessing to spend time with family and enjoy a little taste of normal life again. 🥰

Life is still uncomfortable, and recovery continues to have its challenges, but Monica is handling it like the rockstar she is! ⭐💪

Meanwhile, True Faith Designs is back at work, taking orders, creating new designs, and planning exciting things for the future! We are so thankful for everyone’s prayers, encouragement, and support throughout this journey.

🎉 What an amazing weekend at Lee’s Summit Downtown Days! 🎉

True Faith customers are simply the best! ❤️

This weekend was the Annual Lee’s Summit Downtown Days, and while the temperatures were hot, the friendly faces and incredible support made it all worthwhile. Emma, Charlotte, Frank, and Michelle did an amazing job holding down the tent, while Monica was able to stop by and visit a few times throughout the weekend.

Even though Sunday was rained out, we finished the weekend only a few percentage points behind last year's sales—a huge blessing! 🙌

A special thank you to Nick, Jacob, and John for helping bring Monica out to see everyone, holding down the fort, and making her home more functional as she continues her recovery. Your kindness means more than words can express.

We were overwhelmed by the number of friends, family members, and customers who stopped by to ask about Monica, offer well wishes, and share prayers. Thank you for continuing to lift her up during this healing journey. 💜

🎉 Ultimate Update!!! 🎉

Praise the Lord!!! Monica is HOME!!! 🏡❤️

She is so overjoyed to be back in her own house surrounded by the comforts of home—her family, her dogs, and all the things she loves. What an incredible blessing this day is!

Thank you all for the prayers, encouragement, messages, and support while she was in the hospital. Every single one of you has been a blessing to our family, and we are so grateful. 💜

As Monica continues on her road to recovery, the next hurdle will be adjusting to the large brace she must wear for the next several months while her ribs and vertebrae heal. It will take time, patience, and a lot of determination, but we know God is carrying her through each step.

🎉 Monica is back on her feet!!! Well… sort of! 😊

She took a stroll around the hospital floor today! We are so thankful she is out of the ICU and able to begin rehab. Her strength, determination, and spirit continue to amaze us every single day. 💜

We love you, Monica!! You’re an absolute ROCKSTAR!! ⭐️🙌

Monica was able to stand next to the bed and sit in a chair today!! 👏💪 We are so proud of her strength, tenacity, and fighting spirit through all of this. Every small victory feels huge, and we are praising God for the progress she is making each day. 🙌

Health Update ❤️

Our founder and owner, Monica, was involved in an accident Monday night as the storms rolled through the KC area. As she and her husband were bringing in items to keep them from blowing away in the wind, a large tree in their yard cracked at the base and struck her.

Praising the Lord, she is alive and doing well. She has many broken ribs and vertebrae, but we are incredibly blessed that she is still here with us.

True Faith will continue operating as her daughters, Alex and Emma, along with her sister Michelle, step in to help keep things going. We will still be at Lee’s Summit Downtown Days on June 5–6, and we hope you’ll stop by to see our new designs and say hello!

Monica has many weeks of recovery ahead, so as you think of True Faith, please say a little prayer for her and her family. If you’d like to support us during this time, pick up a shirt for all your summer get-togethers! ❤️
