Grandpa went home to be with Jesus the week of Christmas. I haven’t really had time to sit with this until today. It’s been a hard week, and usually I would call Grandpa to debrief and sit in Grandma’s chair and just really get the comfort of a grandpa. I miss him this week a lot.😭 This is my sister Jen’s grandpa. She moved them here to Red Bluff he and his wife, Grandma Pat, came all the way from Idaho I’m sure they were kicking and screaming 😂 coming to California but God had assignments here and they were used so much for the kingdom of God. They came into my life and really discipled me, poured into me, and taught me so much about prayer, the supernatural, and the gifts of the Spirit.
I even was baptized in the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues in their house! The stories of their journey with Jesus impacted me so much in my life and healing process of having two healthy, loving grandparents. I know God is blessing them because of this!
What they taught me is
Keep close to your family and loved ones, even if they aren’t perfect, it’s okay. Give them grace and pray for everything – you never know what God is doing behind the scenes.
