About the artist:
Fumie Coello is an award-winning Japanese artist based in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Since relocating from Japan to the United States in 2003, she has exhibited her work in local galleries and fairs. Fumie specializes in contemporary realism, producing detailed paintings with smooth color transitions that engage viewers.
Fumie draws inspiration from urban and natural environments. She enjoys camping in national parks and attending rock concerts. Influenced by music, films, vintage fashion, and nature, she incorporates these elements into her color choices and subjects. Her paintings express motivation, romance, love, happiness, and serenity, celebrating nature's beauty and everyday life.
