Drool worthy Lettuce wraps!🌱
⏰Under 30 min (including drizzle sauce)
1 Bag Gardein Beefless Ground Crumbles
1 Can of water chestnuts finely chopped
1 medium zucchini finely chopped
6 White mushrooms finely chopped
1/2 medium white onion finely chopped
2 Green onions chopped thin slices
1 garlic clove finely chopped
1/2 c of cilantro
Seasoned with:
🧂-Teriyaki sauce (kikkoman brand), sesame oil, soy sauce, garlic salt, sweet chili sauce.
📋 Directions: heat oil on medium high in wok or large sauce pan. Add the sprinkle with garlic salt and sauté for 4 minutes, add mushrooms, garlic and Zucchini, sauté for 4-5 minutes lightly sprinkle with garlic salt (don’t overdo it because you’ll be adding soy sauce later which is salty), add Gardein frozen crumbles, cook and stir about 6-7 mins until all veggies are tender. Add green onions, cilantro and water Chestnuts and drizzle 2 TSP sesame oil, 2 TBSP of teriyaki, 1 TBSP soy sauce, 1 TBSP sweet chili sauce stir another 3-4 minutes until well blended. Serve with lettuce cups you can drizzle more sweet chili sauce on top OR make your own sauce:
Drizzle Sauce:
1/4c teriyaki, 1/4 c soy sauce, 2 TBSP sweet chili sauce, 1 TBSP ketchup, 1 Tsp mustard, squeeze about 1 TBSP lemon or lime juice. (Can make this while the filling is sautéing to save time!)
I hope you Enjoy!!!❤️ it’s a breeze to throw together I whipped this up about half hour before my guests arrived and served hot with crispy iceberg lettuce for an appetizers before heading to the pool deck for wine night 😍🍷the best is when your non vegan friends say “is this really vegan???....wow!” 🥰☺️
